The big day arrived this week. Easton turned one on Thursday, January 22, 2009. The morning began with a tempertantrum (these started this week), but turned out to be a good day. We drove Rocky to work and then E and I went to Starbucks for treats, then headed to Sears for a 1 year photo shoot. Of course, the pictures were all so cute that it was difficult to choose just one - but we stuck to it.
The morning of the big party
We had his Birthday party today, Saturday, at the CBC gym. What a good plan. The kids could just run around and play. Easton kept up to them with the aid of his walker. We ate lunch, watched the video Rocky made for Easton, played/visted some more, had cake, and opened presents. He was tuckered out and fell asleep instantly in the car as we drove home.

It was a great party! I'm glad he was able to nap after all that excitement :)
