Today is leap year day, and it is also a day where Easton made leaps developmentally. He smiled at me for the first time, which was very cool. He also focused on his toys that hang from his baby seat and made noises while looking at them (maybe trying to talk to them?).
He had a tough day yesterday, hardly slept at all from 8am to 6pm. He cried a lot and just couldn't get to sleep for longer than 10 minutes at a time. Today was much better. He was content most of the day.
He slept 7 hours in a row at night a couple of nights ago, but he's been up every 3-4 hours the past couple of nights. He's great at getting himself back to sleep though. I can put him down awake, and he will talk and squak to himself, but doesn't cry. Then he eventually falls back asleep. Lucky that he doesn't cry at night like he does in the evenings. :-)

Hang in there! I remember both of my kids went through the evening fussy/crying for a while.
Glad to hear that you are doing well!

Bean's had a rough few days too - must be something in the air. Hope you get some uninterrupted sleep and some easier days - it does get easier ;-)
